What is a mature skin?

We know that, although the signs of ageing cannot be stopped, there are many options available to delay them and boast a healthy complexion. Mature skin generally has diminished functional capacity, is therefore more exposed to harmful external agents and tends to present alterations in protein synthesis, such as the peroxidation of membrane lipids caused by the action of FR (free radicals).
